Captain Donovan's journey began in 2018 when he first set sail with a charter company in San Diego Bay. In 2022, he took on his greatest challenge yet: a Pacific crossing from Southern California on the sailing vessel Sailing Beauty across 2,400 nautical miles of open Pacific Ocean to her new home in Hawaii.
Since her arrival, Sailing Beauty has been updated with a brand-new deck, refreshed upholstery, and thoughtful amenities that make sunset sails, celebrations, and quiet afternoons on the water feel elevated but never stiff.

Alicia purchased Sailing Beauty shortly after moving to O'ahu. It was love at first sail, and she set out to build a business that lets guests experience the same peace she feels on the water.

Captain Donovan has sailed the West Coast of the United States, brought Sailing Beauty across the Pacific to Honolulu, and captained vessels throughout O'ahu waters from Ko'Olina to Waikiki and Kaneohe Bay.

Brighton manages reservations, content, and marketing while bringing prior charter-reservation experience and a marine-science background into the guest experience from inquiry to departure.
